Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a lawyer from Britain and Lebanon, a human rights activist and charitable philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. The length of her career has earned her international acclaim for her accomplishments in international law and in the field that deals with human rights. Clients include a number of high-profile nation-states, including Armenia and its struggle for recognition by the Turkish Government recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged in 2014 and later married American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name. Prior to this, she was well-known and respected in legal circles for consistently representing her clients effectively and with great success. Her job is to represent multinational companies during court hearings and discussions about government regulation, in addition to human rights or social justice.
