James' fame kick-started when he made his on-screen debut on the reality TV star during The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was chosen as the bachelor in season 25, becoming The only African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James has the right look for the part. He is tall and handsome, with an innate sense of humor. Rachael Krakconnell, whom James had picked as his girlfriend for the rest of the season.
