Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress best known for her performances in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already been offered a variety of television roles including the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge on Downfall. Downfall won an Oscar and received critical and commercial great success. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several significant national and international productions. These include British biographical film Control as well as The Dust of Time as in addition to the French history mini-series Napoleon. In addition, she has been an official juror for the Transylvania International Film Festival as and the Cannes Film Festival.
